First and foremost, THANK YOU! Thank you to every one of you who has supported Ferne over the last 6.5 years. We're grateful to be celebrating National Small Business week. We have so much to celebrate and reflect on.
Since opening our doors in Bay City in 2015, we moved from a small space to a bigger store front, on the main strip through downtown. This has opened the doors for us to provide you all with a bigger selection of styles and grow our brand. To this day we continuously have people walk in our doors asking if we're new. We love this because that means we're still reaching new customers and meeting new faces! We strive to build relationships with each of you and make you feel welcome every time you walk in the store.
In 2018 we opened up our second location, in the heart and soul of Michigan, Detroit. Since being open we have seen the area we're in develop and new businesses opening. It's amazing to see small businesses taking over and growing the area. Detroit has created many opportunities for us: from creating our own custom line of crewnecks and t-shirts featuring Detroit, Michigan and all the Detroit sports team to being able to partner with the Piston's and having pop-ups at games. We are truly blessed for the people we have met that help to grow Ferne.
I know 2020 wasn't the best year, but it wasn't all bad. It brought us our third location, Ann Arbor. Despite the pandemic and uncertainty, we were fortunate enough to be able to open our doors the end of the year and have grown ever since! We love being a part of the college town and serving more of Michigan. We have expanded our line of customs to incorporating stadium style ft. looks for U of M and MSU.
At the end of 2021, we collaborated with Mature, a men's clothing brand, on a pop-up in the 12 Oaks Mall. Since then we have opened a permanent store front there. We love being able to provide you and your special someone with curated styles that fit all of your life's needs. Being able to collaborate with another small business is such an amazing thing. We can push each other to be better and grow, and provide you with an experience that you can't get anywhere else.
I could go on and on about how amazing the last 6.5 years have been and how lucky we are to be a small business still serving you today, but I'll conclude with one other highlight from the past few years. We were able to launch our very own line of Cute Sh*t. We created this brand to bring you unique items for yourself and gifts, pieces that speak the truth and make you smile. This incudes everything from stickers, keychains, socks, to funny ball caps. Over the last 6.5 years, we have grown and adapted to get where we are today. We are blessed and forever grateful for all of you who have helped make this happen: from our customers to our AMAZING team here at Ferne. So thank you!
