Bay City, Michigan is where it all began. Back in 2015, we opened our doors in Downtown Bay City in a small space on 5th Street. We quickly outgrew that location and moved to 922 Washington Ave., where we are now surrounded by many other retail shops. 8 years later and we continue to provide a curated selection of on-trend styles, affordable looks, and women-owned gifts and accessories. We love being a part of the historic Downtown Bay City- I know you will love the quaint small town feel as much as we do! Whether you have lived in Bay City your whole life, haven't visited in years, or it's your first time- you are sure to find some gems that have been here for generations and new shops and restaurants that you won't want to miss checking out!

In our Bay City location, we carry everything to style you for all aspects of life- from workwear, everyday staples, to special event dresses. We are constantly adding essential tanks, classic blouses, and dresses that you can dress up or keep laid back for those casual days. Ferne is located in the historic Davidson building in Downtown Bay City. We neighbor Regent Floral & Mercantile and not far is Half Mile Handmade, First Look Bridal, Herman Hiss, Violets Blue and many more unique shops. On nights and weekends we love to see the lights flashing out our window from the State Theatre and people lined up for events- oh and be sure to stop by in the summer when all of the concerts and films take place in the park! We love being a part of Bay City- it truly is a destination that you could spend all day adventuring from shopping, brunch, sitting by the water, antiquing to happy hour.
