Bay City, Michigan is where it all began for us. Back in 2015, we opened our very first doors in a tiny space on 5th Street in Downtown Bay City. Before long, we outgrew that little shop and found our home at 922 Washington Ave.

After 11 unforgettable years here, we’ll be closing our storefront for weekly retail hours at the end of May 2026. But this isn’t goodbye—it’s simply a new way to experience Ferne.

This space has always been so much more than a store. It’s been filled with laughter, connection, and countless memories shared with all of you. Your support has meant the world to us—truly, we wouldn’t be here without you. We love you more than we can put into words.

As we close this chapter, we’re opening another. We’re shifting our focus toward growing our online home. Ferne Boutique will remain open for regular retail hours through May 30th, and after that, this space will transform into our shipping and fulfillment hub for ferneboutique.com as we continue to grow online.

And don’t worry—we’re not going far. We’ll still be connecting with you through special events, pop-ups, and appointment-only shopping experiences. In-store, you’ll still find a curated collection of the pieces you know and love—everything from workwear and everyday staples to denim, collegiate styles, and more.

We can’t wait to welcome you in for personal shopping appointments and private parties with your favorite girls—it’s going to be such a fun new way to shop together.

This is where Ferne’s story began, and we’re so incredibly grateful for every moment we’ve had here. Thank you for being part of it.
