Whelp, ready or not, fall is here. We are expecting our first frost here in Michigan. It's time to bust out the chunky sweaters, shackets, sherpa, and knit hats! We're here to help you refresh your fall wardrobe!
First up, dresses. Yes the weather may be cooler, but you still need an epic fall dress line-up. A sweater dress is the perfect option. You can layer a blazer, jean jacket or shacket over it and finished off with either a boot or sneaker. It'll be a staple you will style from day to night. Another dress you need for fall is a classic floral print. Midi, mini and everything between. Floral never goes out of style.
Next up, you need the perfect blend of staples and statements. For instance a staple, solid color sweater that you can pair with a fun printed skirt or trouser. This allows you to have fun with how you style them. You can keep it simple with denim or get a little wild by mixing in a floral or plaid. We also love a good statement jacket. Whether it's faux fur, a plaid shacket, or a longline houndstooth trench. These make the perfect layers that you can throw on over a sweater, tee, LBD, or even a workwear look.
We've said it before and we will continue to say it now until eternity. You NEED all the graphic tees. They're so easy to throw on with sweaters, bike shorts or denim. You can keep it super casual, or dress them up knotted up over a maxi dress or faux leather trouser. Do yourself a favor and check out our graphic tee collection
, because they are fire right now!
Last up for our fall preview is layering essentials and staple bottoms. Fall calls for all the layers. When you leave the house in the morning you may need a jacket, but by mid afternoon you'll need to shed it. We recommend a staple jean jacket for sure! You also probably need at least one plaid shacket or longline trench. Another one of our favorite layers is a cardigan. They're so cozy and can layer over just about any look.
As far as bottoms go, we're all about a pair of black jeans. They are easy to dress up for a networking event or kept casual with a sweatshirt and sneakers. You can't go wrong with a faux leather trouser. They have a chic feel and can be styled from day to night. Pick an easy color like black or cognac so you can pair them with any color.
