2. Bay City - Located on the banks of the Saginaw River, Bay City is a scenic spot for boating, fishing, and water sports. Don't miss the Bay City State Park for hiking swimming, or the historic downtown area for shopping and dining. It may be a small town, but Bay City has a lot to offer. Spend the day shopping and exploring the many storefronts in downtown, and finish your day grabbing a bite to eat at one of the many delicious restaurants. We recommend MI Table and Tavern 101. Make it a weekend trip and stay at the state park. While you’re in town, stop in to our Bay City location, where it all began. 3. Detroit - The Motor City has undergone a renaissance in recent years, with exciting new developments like the RiverWalk, the QLINE streetcar, and the revitalized Downtown. Check out the iconic Motown Museum, catch a Tigers game at Comerica Park, or explore the city's street art scene. If you love historic buildings and fun nightlife, Detroit is the place to be! 4. Upper Peninsula - For a true escape into nature, head to Michigan's Upper Peninsula. You'll find stunning lakes, forests, and waterfalls, as well as charming small towns like Munising and Marquette. It may be a drive, but it’s worth it.
