Ferne Styling Series: How to style bike shorts

New week + a new blog series! We wanted to share our favorite styling tips with you to show your how we like to style certain pieces and show seasonal styles. To start off the series we are going to show you all the ways that we style bike shorts from our seamless to our faux leather Spanx.

 

 

Our first styled look is one we all could style effortlessly.  Take an oversized graphic tee from your closed and you have the perfect styled laid back look. Finish it off with a sneaker or sandal. This is an easy look to run errands, go to class or just lounge around the house. 

 

 

Our second styled look is perfect as we transition into spring. Bike shorts don't just have to be for the summer. Pair them with your favorite cropped tank and layer over a relaxed jacket. Finish the look off with your favorite sneaker or a sneaker wedge. You can even style this look with an oversize shacket.

 

 

This look may be one of our favorite ways to style bike shorts. Who doesn't love a crewneck? Throw on a cozy crew with a sandal or sneaker for a night at a bonfire with friends. Keep it styled relaxed or you can do a bra tuck into one of our seamless tanks to create a little more shape.

 

 

 Now this look may be the most classic look people assume when they think of bike shorts. Quite literally a sporty look for biking, jogging, or just a comfortable workout look. Style the bike shorts with a sports bra and sneakers for the perfect athleisure look.

 

 

 

Last but not least is for all of you who love to be cute + cozy! Pair your favorite oversize sweater with your bike shorts. Throw on a bootie and pull your hair back for an easy fall look. Any sweater or even a cardigan is a great option! This will be your favorite fall look.

 

That was just a a few tips on how we like to style our bike shorts. They are definitely an underrated item in your wardrobe.
